Allium senescens – German Garlic features a base of lush, grassy-looking green leaves crowned with up to 30 soft lilac-pink flowers on top of upright stems.
Reaching a height between 15-30 cm, Allium senescens prefers to be planted in well-drained soil under the full sun.
Very easy to grow and blooming mid to late summer, it makes the perfect choice to edge a path or garden bed, in a rock garden or even planted in pots on your terrace.
