The Hollyhock - a real romantic 'cottage garden' plant

The Hollyhock is a real 'cottage garden' plant and no flower garden is complete without Hollyhocks romantic flowers and delightful leaves. Hollyhocks are biennial plants, beautiful, reliable and easy to grow. Wild Hollyhocks grow on dry, rocky slopes where most plants can't survive and as such the Hollyhock grows well in poor soil and the full blazing sun.

Hollyhocks - beautiful giants

Gian Hollyhocks can grow very high, more than 2.5 metres in some cases, and flower in wonderful gradations of pink, from near black to red, purple, yellow and white. In our range you can choose from single flowered and double flowered variants. As Hollyhocks grow so large, we recommend protecting your Hollyhocks against the wind by replanting them in a sheltered spot. Due to their length, Hollyhocks are often planted alongside walls and fences.
