Jasmine plants for sale online UK

Jasmine plants for sale online in the UK. A fragrant flowering splendour in the garden. Winter jasmine (Jasminum nudiflorum) is a strong and graceful plant. This climbing plant blooms from December to February and sometimes even until April with beautiful bright yellow flowers on its bare branches. This ornamental shrub is often planted as façade planting. It is easy to tie up against a wall or a pergola. It is also a very low-maintenance plant that requires little care. That is why it is a great garden addition to brighten up the garden during the grey winter months. Winter Jasmine and Tuscan Jasmine are very well suited to our colder climate. Jasmine plants are for sale in our webshop.

Tuscan Jasmine

Tuscan Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides), also known as Star Jasmine, is a scented, evergreen creeper, which can also be used as a ground cover in the garden. The flowers are snow white and fragrant. Tuscan Jasmine does not have many soil requirements. Plant in well-drained soil in a sunny garden spot. Too much water can cause frost damage during winter. This Jasmine is a slow grower, akin to climbing hydrangeas, making this fragrant climbing plant ideal for our smaller European garden. They also make beautiful container plants. Pruning can be limited to a maintenance trim in March or after flowering in October when you can prune the Jasmine into its desired shape.

Pruning jasmine plants

Pruning jasmine plants is necessary to keep the plant in check. Tuscan Jasmine needs guidance to climb. If the plant cannot climb, it is an evergreen ground cover that roots easily. The best time to prune these plants is after flowering. Jasmine nudiflorum, blooms on last years old wood, so take care not to prune these branches away.
