Garden geraniums and Geraniums are an asset to any garden

Garden geranium varieties (Cranesbill) are an asset to any garden, not to be confused with Geraniums (Pelargoniums) that grow in pots. They are excellent border fillers with wonderful leaves and beautiful delicate flowers in several colours, such as white, pink, blue, purple and red. Garden geraniums are strong plants that require little care.

Garden geraniums - wonderful border fillers

Garden geraniums can be multiplied by cutting away a part of the plant and replanting it, which is a quick and easy way to fill empty spots in the flower border. After flowering, you can cut away the leaf and the dead flowers to enjoy the new leaf growth and sometimes a second blossoming. There is a suitable garden geranium variety for every spot in the garden. Garden geraniums work well alongside paths, at the edge of a flower border and do will in the shade. An ideal garden plant!
