Allium Sphaerocephalon - Drumstick
Allium sphaerocephalon ‘Drumstick’, also known as drumstick allium, is a beautiful ornamental onion with striking, oval flower heads in deep red to purplish-red shades. The flowers appear on sturdy, slender stems and create a playful and elegant effect in the border.

Planting Instructions
- Location: Choose a sunny spot. Partial shade is also possible.
- Soil: Use well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. Ornamental onions do not like prolonged wet conditions.
- Planting depth: Plant the bulbs approximately 8–10 cm deep.
- Planting distance: Keep approximately 8–10 cm between the bulbs.
- Planting: Place the bulbs with the pointed end facing upwards and cover them with soil.
- Watering: Water thoroughly after planting. Afterwards, only water when the soil is very dry.
- After flowering: Allow the foliage and flower stems to die back naturally. The bulbs can remain in the ground and will flower again the following year.
