Tulips Greigii Mix
A colourful mix of low-growing botanical tulips with large, eye-catching flowers and beautifully decorative, often striped foliage.
Advantages
- Decorative foliage – often beautifully striped or spotted, making the plant attractive even before it blooms.
- Low-growing and compact – only about 20–30 cm tall.
- Suitable for naturalising – can return year after year in a suitable location.
- Also suitable for pots – ideal for patios, balconies and planters.
Planting instructions
- Choose the right location: Plant the tulips in full sun or partial shade, preferably in well-drained soil.
- Loosen the soil: Remove weeds and loosen the soil thoroughly.
- Planting depth: Plant the bulbs approximately 8–10 cm deep.
- Planting distance: Keep approximately 8–10 cm between the bulbs.
- Position the bulb correctly: Place the bulb with the tip facing upwards and the root plate facing downwards.
- Cover with soil: Fill the planting hole with loose soil and gently firm it down.
- Water: Water thoroughly after planting so that the roots can develop properly.
- After flowering: Allow the foliage to die back completely before removing it. This allows the bulb to store energy for the following year.
