Nest box Kansas.This nest box has an open construction and was specially designed for spotted flycatchers, robins, and white wagtails. Blackbirds choose them sometimes as well. When the nest box is used to house robins and/or wrens, it should be hanged quite low (up to 1,5 meters) between dense vegetation or underneath eaves. For the spotted flycatchers, black redstarts and wagtails, the box can be hanged less protected by vegetation but they do prefer to be slightly sheltered, for example, underneath an overhang or carport. Don't have the opening facing south-west so the birds are protected against the rain.
