This greenhouse is made of flexible plastic and is equipped with a flat bottom, including accompanying tray of floral foam (culture medium) subdivided into 7 rows with each 11 compartments and a transparent lid.The culture medium applied of floral foam is very often used vegetable cultivation, horticulture industry and cultivation of tropical plants. Each box has a pre-cut shape especially developed to take over the cell structure of the young roots. The floral foam has a very high water-holding capacity (4 to 5 times its own weight), which means the seed tray can be provided with water in a uniform and easy way. The porous culture medium also provides the necessary nutrients for the development of the seeds. The floral foam keeps the pH value balanced, which ensures a good development of the roots of the young plant. The young plant can develop in a sterile environment because the culture medium is guaranteed free of parasites, which for example is not the case with peat.
