It is a robust and beautiful foliage/ground cover plant that soothes the eye in the flower border and makes other plants stand out. Plant this variety along border edges or in pots and containers. In mild winter, this variety is also semi-evergreen.It is a beautiful plant and an excellent border filler. Stachys monieri 'Hummelo' grows to about 50 to 70 cm tall, flowering in July to August. Stachys monieri 'Hummelo' combines well with other perennials such as Phlox, Echinacea (Coneflower), Monarda (Beebalm) and Garden Geraniums.
