Olive tree
Bring a touch of Mediterranean charm to your garden, terrace or balcony with this young olive tree (Olea europaea). With its characteristic grey-green leaves and elegant appearance, this timeless tree is a real eye-catcher and instantly creates a warm, sunny atmosphere.
This olive tree is supplied in a young growth stage, allowing you to watch it grow into a beautiful Mediterranean tree. With the right care, an olive tree can thrive for many years and gradually develop more character and charm.
Please note: The tree shown in the product photo is a mature specimen and is intended solely as an example of the olive tree’s eventual appearance and growth habit. The plant supplied is younger and therefore smaller than the specimen shown in the photo. As the plant matures and receives proper care, it will gradually develop the characteristic appearance of the mature olive tree shown.

Planting Instructions
- Location: Choose a sunny, warm and sheltered spot. A location against a south-facing wall is ideal.
- Soil: Use well-draining soil. Olive trees do not like wet feet.
- Planting time: Preferably plant in spring, from April onwards, when the risk of severe night frost has passed.
- Planting hole: Dig a planting hole approximately twice as wide and slightly deeper than the root ball.
- Planting: Place the olive tree at the same depth as it was growing in the pot. Fill the planting hole with light, well-draining soil.
- Watering: Water generously after planting. Afterwards, keep the soil slightly moist, but avoid leaving water around the roots.
- Fertilising: Feed the tree with a suitable Mediterranean plant fertiliser in spring and, if desired, once more during summer.
- Winter protection: A young olive tree is more sensitive to frost. Protect the tree during severe or prolonged frost with fleece or other suitable winter protection. An olive tree grown in a pot is best placed in a sheltered, frost-free location during periods of severe frost.
