Nema-T-bag Felti is a mixture of nematodes to combat leatherjackets, thrips, Colorado Potato beetles and ants. The nematodes penetrate the insect larvae, after which they die due to bacteria the nematodes secrete. The nematodes reproduce themselves in the larvae and subsequently look for a new insect larvae host, after which the process is repeated until there are no more larvae in the soil and the pest has disappeared.
To combat Colorado Potato Beetles, it is crucial to spray the leaves well so that the larvae are covered with the mixture. This product does not destroy ants, but they move because they don't like nematodes in their environment. Organic and harmless to the environment and therefore a sustainable way to control pests.
