Nema-T-Bag Kraussei is a mixture of nematodes to combat weevils, fungus gnats and caterpillars, such as that of the boxwood moth. The nematodes penetrate the insect larvae, after which they die due to bacteria the nematodes secrete. The nematodes reproduce themselves in the larvae and subsequently look for a new insect larvae host, after which the process is repeated until there are no more larvae in the soil and the pest has disappeared. To combat caterpillars, they must be sprayed well with the mixture. Re-treatment is necessary when new caterpillars hatch from the eggs. Organic and harmless to the environment and therefore a sustainable way to control pests.
